If you’re researching the best way to replace missing teeth, then keep reading. Dental implants are fixed restorations which permanently replace lost teeth to give you complete peace of mind and full function.

There’s no other option that looks or feels as natural! A dental implant replaces the tooth root and holds your custom restoration (crown, denture, etc) in place.

Implants fix tooth loss caused by:

  • Tooth decay
  • Mouth trauma
  • Illness or surgery
  • Genetic disorders

Leave your worries behind because advanced dentistry makes it easy to reclaim your smile. Schedule a dental implants consultation in Lake Stevens, WA to find out if you’re a candidate.

Consultation
At your dental implant consultation, our Lake Stevens dentist reviews your goals, teeth, gums, and bite to determine if you’re a candidate. To qualify for this innovative procedure, we’ll ensure you’re in good overall health and have adequate jawbone density to support the implant.
Placement
Our modern technology helps us plan your treatment to give you the best possible results. We first numb the area for a pain-free dental implant placement. Then, we insert the medical-grade metal post in place of the tooth root, and give it time to fuse with the jawbone to create a stable base.
Restoration

Next, we use your mouth impressions to craft your tooth restoration (a crown, bridge, or implant-supported denture). We then place an abutment (connector) onto the implant and attach the final restoration.

Once everything is set, we check for fit and comfort to ensure it looks great and feels comfortable. Enjoy a full smile and complete confidence with dental implants in Lake Stevens, WA.

‘‘I would totally recommend All Smiles Dentistry to all my friends and family. I have severe anxiety about dental work stemming back to a bad childhood experience; however, the entire staff at All Smiles has made me feel at ease since my first visit. No pressure or shaming, just encouragement and education. Love them.’’

Implant Dentistry: What We Offer

Get your health and confidence back at All Smiles Dentistry.

Endosteal

Two-stage implants typically require two surgeries to complete the implant process. First, we insert the metal post into the jawbone and close the area for healing with stitches. Then, in the next few months, we create a minor incision to uncover the top of the post and attach your tooth restoration.

Subperiosteal

One-stage implants usually require fewer surgeries. We secure the post on top of the jawbone and allow the skin to heal without covering it completely. Once the skin heals, our Lake Stevens restorative dentist mounts your new tooth replacement onto the implant.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our doctors answer your questions.

  • Do dental implants hurt? What about recovery?
We always aim to make your dental treatments as comfortable and pain-free as possible. During implant placement, a local anesthetic eliminates pain, and patients often say that implant surgery isn’t any worse than a tooth extraction.

Since dental implants involve invasive surgery, you may experience slight discomfort in the jaw, gums, face, and under the eyes during recovery. The good news is, we’ll recommend the best way to promote more comfortable healing at home (examples include ibuprofen or acetaminophen).

With endosteal implants, AKA two-stage implants, the second visit may involve some residual pain due to the additional surgery.

  • How long do dental implants last?
Dental implants are widely regarded as the longest-lasting tooth replacement vs. traditional dentures and bridges.

On average, a high-quality dental implant may last about 50 years after installation. For most patients, implants last a lifetime.

The actual restoration may wear and tear through the years but a new crown, bridge, or denture is easy to create and install onto the implant. Most restorations typically last 10-15 years on average depending on maintenance and lifestyle choices.

  • Can others tell if I have a dental implant?
Patients love dental implants because they look and function like natural teeth. Nobody has to know about your dental work because we match your new teeth to your existing smile and appearance.

Additionally, you can eat and chew your favorite foods because implants are fixed, strong, and durable. Say goodbye to slipping or loose dentures with our fixed restoration!
